Her Story

Two decades of West Knox, quietly learning what makes a home work.

Before the REALTOR® badge, I spent the better part of two decades in property management — most of it right here in West Knox. I learned the bones of houses and the rhythm of neighborhoods the slow way: lease by lease, repair call by repair call, family by family.

I came into real estate as the world was changing — right at the start of the pandemic — and I'm not sure I'd recommend that timing to anyone except the people who really mean it. I meant it. The hardest market I could've started in is the one that taught me the most. It's also the reason loyalty isn't a slogan to me; it's the only way the work makes sense.

I'm a Tennessee Tech graduate, a West Knox lifer, and an agent at Greater Impact Realty Knoxville — a brokerage built around the belief that good real estate work leaves a trail of strong communities behind it. My clients land in Farragut, Sequoyah Hills, Hardin Valley, Concord, and points in between, and many of them I've helped buy more than one home.

Twenty years inside these neighborhoods means I know which pockets sell to the same families twice in a decade and which ones quietly turn over every three. That's the kind of intel a Zillow shortlist can't give you.

I tell you what I'd do.

My mother is the reason I work the way I work. Everything I know about showing up and following through I learned from her — and the older I get, the more obvious that becomes. My husband is my rock; he's beside me on the long days and the loud ones, and that's not a small thing in this profession.

Outside of real estate, my life is fairly simple and pretty specific: strong coffee in the morning, a couple of pugs at my feet, and — yes, really — gangsta rap on the drive between showings. People are usually surprised by the third one. I think that's fair.

I love a long Saturday in West Knox: a walk through Concord Park, lunch on Kingston Pike, a slow afternoon on the lake when the weather's right. The same things that make this a great place to raise a family are the things I'm always selling — because I'm living them, too.
